Q: How secure is Veracross?
A: Veracross uses corporate-grade security architecture to prevent unauthorized data access and keep personal information confidential. Each account is given a limited "view" into the database. This limited view prevents unauthorized users from seeing any restricted information. 128-bit SSL encryption ensures that data communication is secure as it passes through the internet. This is the same technology many banks use today to protect sensitive information. Veracross systems are hosted at Breuer & Co.'s secure corporate data center. All servers and associated infrastructure are monitored 24 hours per day and only authorized personnel have access. Breuer & Co. also administers all user accounts to ensure the confidentiality of account information.

Each user can view information that is directly related to his or her family. General contact information about our school families is available through the Veracross Family Directory. If you wish to remove your family’s contact information from the Family Directory, please see the section on Family Information. Your contact information will never be distributed to outside organizations or used for non-school purposes or sold for any reason.
Q: What if I have a problem with Veracross?

If you have a question regarding report cards, assignments or homework, please contact your child's teacher or mentor. Any other queries, regarding information searchers, technical support or log in details, please direct them to the school office via e-mail bism@bladins.se.
Q: How to change what information is available in Directories?
A: You can control how much information is available to other school families through the Veracross Directories. Veracross Directories require a login. Your contact information is not available to the general public. Your information will never be distributed to outside organizations or used for non-school purposes or sold for any reason. If you decide to remove any of your contact information from the Directory, the school will still have a record of it, but it will not be available to other families.
You can update your directory status on the Update Profile screen. The field Directory Status is under your Household Address. When you have selected the status you desire, scroll to the bottom of the page, confirm your changes and click the Update button.
You have the following options as your Directory Status:
Display Address, Phone, and Email

Display Address & Email
Display Phone & Email
Display Address Only
Display Phone Only
Display Email Only
Suppress from Directory (This will remove everything, including your name)
