International School Admission Requirements
 


Bladins International School of Malmö was established to cater for the needs of international students who are temporarily living in Sweden.

The following criteria are considered when applications are submitted, in order of priority:
 

1.       English and second-language English speaking children from abroad whose stay in Sweden is temporary.

 

2.       Non-English speaking children from abroad whose stay in Sweden is temporary.

 

3.       English speaking children whose residence in Sweden is long term.

 

4.       Non-English speaking children who are presently residing in Sweden but whose families plan to move abroad.

 

5.       Other- One English speaking parent, family going abroad.

 

6.       Queue
 

According to guidelines set by the Swedish National Agency for Education we are only able to process applications that fall under this admissions policy.

International School Fees For Academic Year 2010/2011



IS Pre-School or PYP 1 (academic programme for children between 3 and 6 years old)



Children between 3 and 6 years old are placed in either the International Pre-school and PYP 1. Opening times for this group is 08:30 - 13:50.

Gross Fees 74.000,- SEK per year or 7.450,- per month paid over 10 months.



Children between 3 and 6 years old are eligible for subsidized places in the International Pre-school and PYP 1. These are for children where both parents are working and need to be at school between 07.30 and 17.30. 


Fee is according to the Swedish maximum rate law (payable over 12 months).


 

PYP 2 - 6 (between 6 to 11 years of age)


1. Gross Fees 74.000,- SEK per year or 7.450,- per month paid over 10 months.


2. Subsidised Fees 14.500,- SEK per year (or 1.500,- SEK per month paid over 10 months) for children with a Swedish identity number who are considered of school age according to Swedish law. This lower fee is dependent on the school receiving local subsidy. 


 

MYP 1 - 5 (between 11 to 16 years of age)



1. Gross Fees 80.400,- SEK per year or 8.090,- SEK per month paid over 10 months.


2. Subsidised Fees 16.500,- SEK per year (or 1.700,- SEK per month paid over 10 months) for students with a Swedish identity number. This lower fee is dependent on the school receiving local subsidy.



 

Please Note: There is a one time enrolment fee the first year your child attends Bladins International School of Malmö. It is 10,000:- SEK and is non refundable.

 

School lunches and all teaching material are included in the school fees.

You must complete a withdrawal form (which can be downloaded on our internal pages, requires a login code). Please note that three months notice is required or three months gross fees in lieu of notice.
