Anti-Bullying at Bladins
At Bladins School we actively work towards preventing bullying. We do not tolerate any form of abusive treatment towards any child or adult = zero tolerance. If any abusive treatment should occur, we immediately take action to stop it.
Our definition of bullying and other abusive treatment is:
"When one or more persons repeatedly, and over a period of time, are subjected to negative acts by one or more persons." (Dan Olwus, Bergen)
This means that all individuals should be treated equally regardless of sex, ethnic origin, religion, sexual preference, or disability.
The class teachers regularly work with preventative actions in their classes, such as surveys, discussions in small groups etc.
All adults at the school have a responsibility to prevent bullying and other abusive treatment.
We have a team that work against bullying and other abusive treatment. This team is called NoMo and is comprised of staff from all departments of the school as well as class supporters from each class.
